Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to a tranquil villa surrounded by nature. This is where Tracy Moore and Family stayed and enjoyed very much. Kili Villas also hosted the likes of harrison Ford and Christy Turlington.
- Relax with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2: Explore Arusha
- Visit the bustling Central Market, a vibrant hub of local crafts, spices, and culture.
- Discover Tanzanian art and history at the Cultural Heritage Centre.
Day 3: Travel to Tarangire National Park
- Drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.
- Embark on a thrilling game drive, spotting wildlife in the park’s diverse landscapes.
- Check into a luxury camp and relax under the African sky. Overnight in a Luxury Lodge with a spectacular pool with a view.
Day 4: Tarangire
- Spend the day on safari, spotting huge herds of Elephants, maybe even a Leopard and go searching for lions, giraffes, and vibrant birdlife.
- Back at camp for sundowners by the cozy fire enjoying the beautiful memories of the day. Luxury Lodge overnight
Day 5: Travel to Karatu & Visit the Hadzabe Tribe
- Head to Karatu and meet the Hadzabe Tribe, one of Africa’s last hunter-gatherer communities.
- Learn about their ancient traditions, from fire-making to hunting techniques.
- Settle into your Luxury lodge, combining comfort with stunning views of the highlands.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
- Driving into the Ngorongoro Crater is an unforgettable experience. As you descend the winding roads into this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the breathtaking view unfolds—a vast, lush caldera teeming with wildlife. Known as Africa's Garden of Eden, the crater offers unparalleled opportunities to spot the Big Five against a backdrop of sparkling lakes, open grasslands, and dramatic cliffs. It's a safari moment like no other.
- Return to your lodge in Karatu to relax and enjoy the spectacular views by the camp fire.
Day 7:
On our last day in this region you can end on a high - literally with a Hot Air Balloon ride over the world heritage recognized area of Ngorongoro. This is optional but you will not regret this mind blowing experience.Day 8: Fly to Zanzibar
- Take a short flight to Zanzibar and transfer to your fabulous beachfront boutique beach hotel.
- Unwind on pristine white sands or take a swim in the turquoise waters. Dinner in the sand listening to the waves on the beach.
Day 10: Spice Tour
- Tour a local spice farm and learn about Zanzibar’s famous spices, from cloves to cinnamon.
- End the day watching the magical sunset from the beach bar.
Day 11:
- Spend the day on the Safari Blue Tour, snorkeling over vibrant coral reefs and enjoying a lobster seafood feast on a secluded beach.
Alternatively Relax by the pool or on the beach and perhaps take a Swahili Cooking class or just enjoy your last day in Paradise.
Day 12: Departure
- Reflect on your incredible journey as you transfer to the airport for your flight home, carrying memories to last a lifetime.
